The history of ZERO363
The production of handmade garments is not only an asset but also an art that must be handed down. We love merging the best craftsmanship with the desire of experiment exploring the boundaries of the fashion universe without ever losing our local DNA. We have made our own new production solutions, new markets and new creative paths. However, we still believe in ethics as compass, in the creative commitment of our craftsmen and in the quality as promise to meet at any cost.
We’re confident that those values that have taken us so far will bring us to draw a sustainable future, for us and for our partners.
Patrizio Poli and his wife Irma Meroni established an artisan tailoring workshop in Covo. The name is “Confezioni Patrizia” and it sells wholesale cotton batiste nightdresses. Precious garments that are part of the nightwear which women have loved embroidering since childhood.
In the following years the laboratory thrives off, together with the Poli family. Patrizio and Irma have three daughters and of them, Maria, takes over the company with her husband Mario Carrara.
Production requirements are expanding but the company founders don’t want to give up the deep bond with the territory which supported their birth and their success. So, even in Covo, a larger plant is inaugurated. As before, it draws always with confidence on local resources and labour.
Trends change and pyjamas officially become part of outwear. They begin to be made with particular attention to the ever-changing fashion trends. With a craftsmanship but always by looking forward to the future, the company quickly adjusts and launches new lines, starting to produce also for the retail industry.
The historical brand “Confezioni Patrizia” is transformed by changing its name and becoming “Sisters”. An evocative word and a clear tribute to the six daughters of Maria Poli and Mario Carrara which wants to emphasizes the value of the family and be a good omen for the next generation.
Michela and Grazia, two of the six sisters, help their parents manage the company and guide it to present day. New challenges don’t scare the third entrepreneurial generation, able to effectively exploit the historical know-how in order to move decisively on the markets.
“Sisters” changes its company name to ZERO363, a designation taken from the telephone code for the area where the company has been established for more six decades. The company organisation changes by structuring itself around new professional and competent figures who are able to project the company into new inspiring horizons.
The company’s lines are expanding, including six collections, each with their own distinctive personality and distributed not only across Italy, but also across Europe and the rest of the World. Today the artisan workshops of ZERO363 employ a hundred people and the company size, even proudly local, allows a complete monitoring of its supply chain.
